Immokalee
Thursday April 22nd, A Sustainable Faith is offering an opportunity to journey to Immokalee Florida to meet with migrant farmworkers, to hear their stories and to learn about their situation. This field trip is optional, costs $65 and will be strictly limited to 40 participants. You must be registered for A Sustainable Faith conference in order to register for this event. All of the proceeds in excess of the costs for the Immokalee event will go to the Coalition of Immokalee Workers to aid in their fight for fair wages and humane working conditions. We will leave from Missio Dei Community in St. Petersburg, FL @ 1pm and return at 930pm. Plan to carpool from Missio Dei with others down to Immokalee.
