Living Eden: A Theology of Cosmic SalvationGod’s original plan was to hang out in a garden with a couple of naked vegetarians. (Please come clothed!) Ironically, today’s Christendom contributes much to the destruction of what was once paradise. Ever since Lynn White’s historical essay in Science Magazine in 1967 christianity has been blamed for our present ecological crisis. In this seminar we will explore a biblical view of creation that transcends both the anthropocentric attitude falsely attributed to christianity and the geocentric worship of nature itself. We will also talk about ways of foreshadowing Christ’s cosmic salvation by the way we live and thereby experiencing a taste of life in Eden. Bio:
